Watch for my blog next week on Southern Oregon wineries, restaurants, and attractions. I am off to Grants Pass, Oregon to visit family. Within a few miles of their home is an up and coming wine region known as the Applegate River Valley.

I have been invited to several of them for an exclusive tasting. They are known for several varietals and styles. Some of vineyards serve tapas, cheeses, and flatbreads. I will also be reviewing 3 of my favorite local restaurants. If you ever make it there, the Hellsgate River tour is awesome. You take a 4-hour jet boat tour, which includes a great dinner spread, and several 360's on the water. Traveling to this area from Las Vegas is simple. Allegiant Airlines has several flights weekly into Medford, Oregon. I will not be posting my usual Tuesday and Friday tips while I am away.

My future blogs will focus on my top 5 U.S. and European travel destinations. Later in July, I will be posting on the top locals restaurants ( I found a great pizzeria yesterday). I hope you are enjoying your summer. Have a great 4th of July holiday. If your traveling … be safe.
